Privacy Policy Jonic Properties Pty Ltd (ACN 129 880 253) and our related companies (referred to below as we, us or our and collectively, the Jonic Group), respect your privacy. By making this Privacy Policy available on our website, we confirm we are a member of the Jonic Group and we are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (the Privacy Act).

Where appropriate, we will handle personal information relying on the employee records exemption and the related bodies corporate exemption in the Privacy Act. We may modify this Privacy Policy from time to time by publishing it on our websites. What personal information do we collect and why?

We collect the personal information we need to manage our developments, perform contractual obligations and to provide information to you. If you choose not to provide certain personal information to us, we may not be able to provide you with the services you require.

Generally, if appropriate, we will tell you why we are collecting personal information and how we plan to use it or these things will be obvious when we collect the information.

  • To provide our management services We collect personal information about you for the purpose of assessing and acting upon expressions of interest submitted to us (either directly or through agents), entering into or performing contracts we may have with you, or to manage any development of ours in which you own an interest.

  • To assist with your queries You may also choose to provide us with your name or other contact details when you contact us so that we can respond to your requests for our services or for other information.

  • As part of our general business operations We also collect personal information about individuals who are, or are employed by, our suppliers (including service and content providers), contractors, dealers related companies, agents and corporate customers.

  • Employees and contractors and job applicants When you apply for a job with us we may collect certain information from you (including your name and contact details, information about your working history and relevant records checks), from any recruitment consultant and from your previous employers and others who may be able to provide information to us to assist us in our decision on whether or not to make you an offer of employment. This Privacy Policy does not apply to acts and practices in relation to employee records of our current and former employees that are exempt from the Privacy Act.

If we receive personal information of a prospective tenant for any part of any development of ours we may use and disclose that information to owners or prospective owners of lots in, or managers of, the development.

We do not sell email, telephone or fax numbers or other personal information to any other entity.

We do not disclose personal information to recipients outside of Australia.

 

Security Safeguards

We have taken and will continue to take reasonable steps to seek to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss and from any unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. We remind you, however, that the internet is not a secure environment and although all care is taken, we cannot guarantee the security of information you provide to us via electronic means.

We has no control over this collection of information and makes no representations about the adequacy of their privacy policies. Cookies and IP address tracking

Our websites may use cookies for site administration purposes.
